Was going to say we have it terribly here, the whole place is shaking , we've had to put all the breakable stuff away, and we can't get the ferry home cause of it.. then I realised you didn't mean the gales
Farts smell rancid enough to cause rooms to be evacuated. Burps generally don't have this issue. Although word on the street is that everyone loves their own brand.

I was jogging one day and got the same machine gun farts as I ran past a couple. They were doubled over with laughter and so was I!

I don't think either is particularly acceptable But possibly because farts tend to be smelly?
Well seeing as both are natural bodily releases, that we ALL do, no-one has any right to moan or complain about it.
