Due to advances in electrickery and technology, you can take us with you. 
I will be taking my laptop Joe but don't know about coming online when I'm there....I think the OH might blow a fuse if I can't stay offline for 2 weeks
So . . my friend went to Turkey and sed the touristy areas were fine
Get off the beaten track and it was another story
She sed the men were sexist and lecherous, following the Europeans around like they were gonna get something for nothing - like it was their right
Me other mate married a Turk and he was lovely to me but a tyrant to her
We know another Turkish guy - his wife is my freind and she sed he has a terrible temper.
Is this common of Turkish men - i have no idea!!!
I'm not the least bit jealous that you are heading off to the sun, while I remain here in the wind and rain. Okay, I am a wee bit jealous.

Don't know Renton, I'm not really planning on finding out either! My mate is married to a Turkish man though and he seems lovely.
Same things could be said about some men from any country.....creepy barstewards with bad tempers!

Hope you have a wonderful time. We have been to Turkey the past two years (Belek) and loved it ......................wish I was coming with you. I've got builders in and my kitchen is currently being demolished walls down and everything - I'd love to go away and come back when it's all done.

Mrs Jer and her friends of the ladies all in keep fit group take Turkish holidays off the beaten track. No issues.
