Awww Zazz Have you got free view ?? if so, can't they help you?

Mine isn't too bad at the moment, but I've lost the on-screen guide to the BBC channels. Maybe it will be corrected tomorrow as they are going to be fiddling around with the service in my area again!

Are you in the same area as Zazz then Kimota? I'm on Sky, so not sure if it will effect me....

awww zazz - I sympathise ... I was at my sister's flat in your area of the woods a few weeks ago - it seems that you have had to retune every blinking week. We couldn't watch any ITV channels while we were there

My transmitter is Crystal Palace, the London switchover is happening right now.......some days my digibox decides to reset itself, it's a bugger when I switch on and miss the start of something because I have to wait for all the channels to appear again!!

i get a message up on screen telling me on which dates to re tune, in all i've only had to re tune  3 times so far.

A bloke was on the BBC news this morning stating that if you are on a relay transmitter and not a main one you will only receive 15  tv channels,radio is okay.We switched up here (Glasgow) last July no problems.

I retuned the Freeview on two tellies.....one has 83 channels and the other has 125....thank gawd I'm on Virgin on the main telly

I've had to re tune about 3 times so far (only on daughters TV upstairs)

I've retuned Freeview 3 times. I've finally got all my channels back, and I'm glad to say that the reception is a lot stronger. The downside is that I have to redo all my timer settings after each retune.

We are in North London and having to retune about 3 or more times a day; or, you're watching something and that channel begins to fail and then you have to switch the tv off and on again to reset it.

everytime i have to retune, 3 times so far, but i think that's it now, i have to go thru the organsier to remove all those crappy channels  no one ever wants,  the qvc, bid ones, the sex ones the chat ones and others about which i have no clue except that they are in the  way of my scrolling.

QVC is like televisual heroin. I found it by accident and every so often have a browse there.

It is utter poop but strangely addictive. I've never felt the slightest inclination to buy any of the stuff they're flogging but the sales patter is an artform in itself - absolutely hilarious.

If i cant sleep i put QVC on, and the monotonous tone of their voices going on and on about shite honestly lulls me into dreamland ... I love it.  I used to watch it by accident around about half two when lil gyps was a tiny tot in her first year of school and by the time i had to collect her i had to scrape myself off the sofa and shake myself awake..they can really send me into unconsciousness.

Digital switch-over was in November last year for me.  Every year before switch over, the Freeview reception degraded to almost useless from May to October.  It's a case of wait and see this year but I'm not too confident as signals are already quite weak on a few stations.  I think it will be Freesat for me soon.

We only get 15 or so channels down at the coast, but we've won a watch, it was only cooncil telly before the switchover  

Got all my channels back after retune day yesterday. The reception has been very good, even with all this crappy rain!

The Tv was much better yesterday and today!

We had to go down the Freesat route as Freeview recption is so dire around here. To be honest you can't go wrong with Freesat. You get all the channels all at maximum signal strength. Only downside is you need to pay someone a one off fee to install the dish and feed the cable in.

Mine is good at the moment. I have even got the listings for BBC programmes back after a week or so without it!
