Thanks for posting this Renton.  Very sad news, and particularly bad when you think if he does die soon (which I think is imminent,) he will be the THIRD of the five Gibb children to die at a not-very-old age.  Poor Andy of course died of myocarditis, (an inflammation of the heart muscle, caused by a viral infection. (Aged only 30!)  And Maurice (Robin's twin brother) died several years ago at age 55.  He died following complications resulting from a twisted intestine.  And now it looks like Robin may die at 62.    How sad.

Whilst I am pleased for the family, I do wonder whether it is fair for the family to be singing and waking him from his coma. His condition is not compatible with life so maybe it would have been kinder to leave to slip away in his sleep. I understand the family have their needs but it does seem selfish as they are putting themselves before Robin
