Now, I’m roughly the same age as Cowell, but don’t know one man who uses such phrases to describe his time with an ex.

It’s the kind of language used by phoneys who want to be seen as studs who have bedded scores of women and left a trail of broken hearts behind.

And in Cowell’s case the trail is endless... Mezhgan, Terri, Jackie, Louise, Georgina, Jasmine, Sinitta, Julia and Dannii, etc.

So many conquests, but why do I get the feeling that he just won’t be happy until he dates a girl called Dorothy and she introduces him to her friend?
