I use them mostly for 'Dress Your Kids Up as Some Other Bloody Theme' days, at school.

I think there is room for both yes Blizzie ?

I love the eclectic gatherings in the local charity window....kin be very entertaining!

I wasn't suggesting that 'charity cases' should be banned from using the shop!

Just that they are called charity shops because they raise funds for charities.

Ok my opinion

Charity/thrift/recylce all needs to be revamped in a thorough shake up of the brand.

Forget the community outreach, we're doing it for the needy promotion.

It reeks of desperation - even if it isn't.

Just make it a cool, hip, trendy shop that sells amazing stuff .. oh and it happens to donate to charity

OK right... negatives:

1. I don't think the problem is the product... theres amazing stuff...

Put online what you have... You will sell it  But HOW do you get it out there and make it cool/ saleable?

1. Positives: I think its brilliant Slimfern  the the whole idea of a good old U.S. "Thrift Shop".. online... choosing your own cool stuff... there can't be just me ... its like choosing your own designer gear- but year on year - not just this season, theres good stuff that doesn't date.

Good luck, Slim, its a brilliant idea if you can make it work. Its not like "upcycling" which is fairly hit-and-miss and doesn't inspire you.

You can get beautiful clothes hunting about... what if you could get get em online?
