I HATED it, with a passion, I would take all kinda steps to try and side track the parents when it came to that horrible time in the mornings before school where this shit would be forced down my throat

I can vaguely remember being fed a spoonfuls of it as a child. All 5 of us in a row, I don't remember being disgusted by it, so I must have liked it.
I was forced to have Virol as a child, I hated it. I would mostly be gipping like mad after having it shoved down my throat by my mum, and once or twice it me yak all over her.

Me too, my brother used to get it given out at his school and we didn't at ours

Mother is 87 and takes a desert spoon of Cod Liver Oil per day. My son used to refer to it as "toffee medicine!"

Never got cod liver oil, but we used to get Delrosa rosehip syrup in the winter - it was gorgeous! I vaguely remember the malt stuff

Nope, closest thing I used to have was probably Minadex, an orange 'build-up' tonic when I got colds and stuff. I didn't mind it! Used to love chewing on Haliborange vitamins too.
