I love it. But then that's one of my fave genre of book/film... Fantasy.. the type that makes you want to be in that world.

I watched it in HD over a year ago, very pretty visuals but the story didn't grab me much, and I was looking at my watch thinking 'when will it end' after a while.
Oh damn I missed it!!! I don't go the cinema these days but friends who saw it loved it and said I would too. I've waited for it to be on tv and then I miss it. grrrrrr
I haven't seen it but I would have watched it the other night if it hadn't clashed with something else we were watching.

You have to read the Boudica quartet by Manda Scott (Dreaming the hound etc) and the Song of Sorcery series by Elizabeth Scarborough (song of Sorcery, Bronwyns Bane and The Unicorn Creed) if you like fantasy.
Can't recommend either series highly enough
It's ok but it does go on a bit. As a story, it's not original and although the CGI is very good, the film does have a cartoon-like feel to it. Its biggest fault is it is so interminably over long.
