im with someone now

but i used to feel that several ladies(who can cook) would benefit from my company

i tried to live my life by that rule

and i really thought i was doing them a favour

turned out they get annoyed and it dont work

however

i like being with someone, its nice

but i like having time on my own aswell

as long as ive got the greyhounds

I did not like being on my own but since I sold my house and I am now living with my daughter I am not alone and life is so much nicer, having another man in my life would never be an option,MrM was second best to none..in that respect I may be on my own and would have it no other way, finding and joining CH4 forum helped me so much at a very bad time in my life, and I will never forget how kind and welcoming everyone made me feel..I thank you all

Marg and Squiggle I think I should start appreciating Mr Woo a bit more TBH. I know that quite a few on here have had relationships go wrong and I understand why they are happy to be on their own. I don't think it's essential for every woman to have a man - it's horses for courses. I have my moans and groans but ..............I think I got lucky when I met Mr Woo.

Ditto.

Mr Blizz though, not Mr Woo - in case you were worried!

Blizz'ard

I don't think I really know any different.  I met the OH when I was 17 and we've been together almost every day since!  I like how we are though, he works long hours so I don't see him a lot during the day so I have my own space, I can do what I want (albeit with kids in tow!), spend what I want and go where I want without worrying about him being at home all alone.  I also go out regularly with my girl mates without even a blink from the OH coz we have an unspoken agreement that I can go out whenever I want as long as I come home after the bar/club and not go partying.  Suits me fine

Then there's the other side.....when he's not working he's very good at cleaning, does all the errands, takes the kids to and from school (in fact he does that when he's working too if he can) and will give me anything I want (within his means)  I suppose it's little things like that that I would miss if he weren't here.

I wouldn't miss his insane snoring though

If anything's going to kill Mr Blizz off before me, it'll be my snoring!

I feel for Mr Blizz!!  There is no words to even describe how bad my OHs snoring is.  So far I've tried 'like a farmyard/zoo trio of pig/cow/elephant' or an airplane taking off or a bag of cats being suffocated or or or just NOOOOOISEE!!!!

This is how I feel.  I enjoy being in a relationship, but equally some of the best times of my life have been when ive been single. I think that if you look for someone else to make you happy, or in some way whole, then you are just heading for trouble.

So very true.
