I've bought my Mam a rose plant with her name, and she'll be getting a donation in to her Australia fund.  (I'm hoping her Australia fund is just for another visit and not her plotting a hostile takeover).

I've bought myself a nice pair of KG shoes and a fabulous little scarf I happened upon while I was there shoe shopping ... for Mothers day obviously

Zazz I'm sure Gyps will be thrilled to bits with her bleach.

As long as it is the aforementioned "Designer" brand!

Syd do you mean Domestos?

I'm in a bit of a ranty mood tonight, so sorry if I am coming across as being sharp/short in my replies.

But I hate Domestos as a bleach, it's crap for the toilet (no pun intended), it's too thick and just slides right down in to the water.  I prefer Tesco or Asda own brand bleach it sticks to the bowl as it slowly slides it's heavenly cleaning way down the toilet.

Cinds, I was only joking, bleach is bleach to me, what ever is on special offer is good enough for me and my germs, it all ends up in the same sewer  xx

(And if any of my offspring are reading this..........Noooooo)

I get enough Ass Fudge from the kids on a weekly basis.....I don't want any on Mothers day!

I bought my Mum some comfortable walking shoes  WHAT??  They're practical and she can't find shoes to fit her ermmm 'plump' feet in town so I looked online and bought her 2 pairs, one for now and sandals for when the weather is better.

Also bought the Mum-in-law a cardigan and top.  She's hates chocs and has a mountain of smellies (which I need to go raid soon) and would rather have something useful so she's getting a cardi and she'll like it

FFS. This will be sunday we are talking about isnt it I bought my mum a card today at tesco, and left it at the checkout HELP!!!!!

I really have NO NO NO  idea what to get her. Same old crap every year, may as well just throw some money into the air because she never uses anything, gives any chocs you give her away etc.  I bought her the most amazing roses last year.... she kept them in the spare room because they gave my brother hayfever

My Mum in law is like that Gyps...which is why I stopped spending any sort of money on her coz she doesnt wear any of the jewellry I bought her, nor the perfume, doesn't use the smelly sets and gives the chocs to the kids so I buy her something in the sale section and don't give it a second thought.

I like her though  might not sound as though I do but I do!

Aye they're lovely.....very different!!

I don't mind buying to my own Mum coz she likes everything she gets.  She wears every single thing people buy her and she uses up all the perfumes/make ups/smellies so I'll happily buy to her but buying to someone who doesn't give a shit how much effort you put into something really gets up my nose.

Apparently I'm a nightmare to buy for.

Not because I'm ungrateful (I'm not! ) but because no one knows what to get me   Dunno why cos I like smellies, I smoke and I drink - what's the problem?

My mum and ma in law are both easy going, so I'll pick them something up on Saturday; they always appreciate anything they're given.  Or they seem to............

Happy birthday to your Mum, Soozy.

Random question: if smellies aren't perfumes, what ARE they? You  mean sachets? Or what?

Well smellies mean anything that makes you smell nice..ie..Bath oils, perfume, Body lotion etc......

(Emphasis on the "You" not the Loo)
