Capitalist society is structured in a way to generally benefit the super monied elite.  Thankfully, the super monied elite classes don't agree what's the best way to structure society and some actually have a social conscience.

 

I'm afraid the whole capitalist/banking system is based on infinite growth and exploitation of a quite small planet of finite resources.  The philosophy flies in the face of the obvious physical limitations of planet Earth.  We're doomed! [and I don't say that flippantly]

Oh I think they can, trouble is there is no going back until we recognise the fact that people are more important than rapid production of things that we can't afford (including life saving drugs).

See thats where machines... if they did take over would epic fail, even though we as humans arent always right we do feel something, weather it greed or compassion we feel.... a world run by machines would lose those emotions
