May I leave you with this subject?
Something is about to happen in a particular programme. I know what it is. Mrs Jer didn't know. I've removed things which might give the game away. I've told her to avert her eyes in the Morrisons checkout so that she may not view the scatter mags. Tonight she fired up her PC and saw the news on the MSN homepage. Why do these people give the game away? Total arseholes all of 'em.

I like spoilers. That's only because I am impatient though!!  When LOST was on I just COULD NOT wait a whole 7 days to find out what happens next so I always read the spoilers.  It didn't actually spoil the eps for me but having watched a few different series' recently where I knew nothing of what was going to happen next, I enjoyed it more.

I always read the soap spoilers on DigitalSpy....mainly because I don't watch the soaps but still like to know what's going on in them

I remember a few years ago none of us knew what was going to happen in Corrie or Emerdale, it was more than the actors' worth to let things slip.

We never got spoilers in the papers or magazines. I think, and I may be wrong, but when Eastenders started, seems to be around the time that I used to see the spoilers in the papers and on the supermarket rubbish mags.

Aww I just HAD to know what was coming up!  And also because I would have constantly been on DarkUFOs site (had some amazing articles about LOST and helped me understand wtf was going on)  there was always the spoiler tab at the top of the page calling to me and wanting me to touch it

I doubt that the actors ever let anything slip. Usually the prog publicity department doing a faux "a street insider said," In effect it's advertising.
