I've heard ads on the local radio at work recently Aims, that they're coming to Newcastle (or surrounding areas) TBH, I'm not sure they would 'work' any more given the style of music............your decision though 

Mr Cinds was talking about this tour the other day, but it won't confirm whether Axel Rose is fronting, so I don't want to spend the money until I know.

Now't lost in giving them a look/see but from what i have heard it is not the original line-up and they will be a bit wrinkly by now.

Daughter has just read the review for where they are playing in Nottingham and it says Axel and Co

I took m'son to see them at Gateshead stadium, and the following year twice at MK stadium. Very entertaining.

Axl is the only original member remaining. The rest are off doing other things (Slash is busy making solo albums, for example). A few of them got together in Velvet Revolver but that band is on hiatus now.

 

If VR ever get back together then that'd be a better bet than Axl & some random musicians, given the chances of a full GNR reunion are practically nil.

I've seen Velvet Revolver and also Duff solo. I'm a HUGE GnR fan but I won't go to see them now. Axl Rose does NOT make GnR. He destroyed the band and IMO isn't worthy to still use the GnR name 

This is what i was thinking Cagney  we've decided against it as the tickets aren't that cheap 

Like Cagney, I've seen VR and was a hooooooge GnR fan and saw them many times in concert but I wouldn't waste a penny seeing what Axl has done with the 'band'  - you also have no idea if he's going to turn up or not as he has a habit of not turning up or when he does grace the stage with his presence, it can be anything up to 2 hours late
