I need some more help if any of you are around.

 

So I also have an ipod touch that I have had for about 3 years.  I loaded tunes on to it when I got it and haven't updated since.  I've just spent the last few days loading all of my tracks (from cd) on to the imac, but there are some cd's now missing  

 

What I want to know is, can I transfer them from my ipod touch without deleting stuff from the mac?  The sync thing scares me, because when I plugged the touch in to it, I got a notification saying if I synced the pod to the mac it would delete all of the media from the pod?  HELP ME! 

 

BTW it's only about 4 tracks that I can think of that's on the pod that I have lost on CD, so would I be just better off downloading them off itunes?

Sorry cinds, mr summer did our musical transfers so I'm not very helpful on that. If its only 4 songs, I would probably just download them or reload from the cd. I hope everything is going well with your mac though

I downloaded them Sweet.  It was because the CD's had gone missing 

 

Yes it's still going well, in fact I'm a little bit in love with it.  I even sent Mr Cinds off to bed last night while I stayed up late with Mac playing sweet music to me

Rawky can you answer this one.  I transferred all of my photos across when I set the Mac up, not a problem.  But how do I get them out of the downloads file and across in to the photo thingy? <<< technical term

I would LOVE one. Both of my boys have a Macbook Pro for uni and they don't want anything else now.

Sorry Rawky - just noticed you said it too!!

I just have my photos in a photo folder I created and I view them in preview or a slideshow if I'm feeling fancy I don't really like Photobooth, not sure which other photo thing there is?

I'll tell you what I do miss, the toolbar at the bottom like in Windows where all of your open files are neatly ordered and you just click that to bring it to the front

I'm not that advanced yet!
