They've been wheeling 'em out this morning. My own favourite and one I've never forgotten was about how his first job was as a rear gunner on a Belfast milk float.

Awww - a funny man and did seem genuinely nice. Some comedians can be very funny but you feel like they've got a dark side to them. He just seemed nice!

As a child I saw Frank Carson playing Buttons in panto in Belfast. He stole the show needless to say  

Remember he was on standby to do I'm A Celebrity... a few years ago? They should have let him in, instead of the other nobodies 

Far too nice and straightforward for that, I reckon.

I've been reading the obits about him.  Of course I remember him and his daft jokes, but he really does seem to have been a decent, nice fella too.

Big loss to his community as well as his family and friends

I think he was wanted as a main contestant but his health then wasn't good.

Oh Katty, thats sad. Apparently despite his health problems, he kept working, nearly to the end. Pity we didn't see more of him on tv in recent times
