Everytime i try and log into FB this message comes up

https://WWW.Facebook.Com

The sites security certificate is signed using a weak signature algorithm!

You attempted to reach www.Facebook.Com but the server presented a certificate signed using a weak certificate. This means that the security credentials that the server presented could have been forged and the server may not be the server that you expected (you may be communicating with an attacker) you should not be proceed

Does anyone know what this means? my daughter is using the same computer and it's not happening to her when she goes on her FB

I googled the beginning of the error message Aims...  & it seems you are not alone... there are loads of people with the same problem.

However, normally when these things happen there's a solution or fix posted & I can't find one.

It does seem to be spyware or web page hijacking..    but god knows why its only happening to you & not your daughter...

I'll keep having a ferret around see if I can find anything thats of more help

Aimee, have you tried emailing facebook direct? If your daughter can get into it perhaps she can use the contact button to talk to them as I bet you're not the only one having this problem.

I've had a quick look on the net. Do you and your daughter have different settings when you log on? Are you using Google Chrome? If so, try accessing FB through IE.

As Veggie says, use a different browser to see if that helps.

Cheers for that  I've tried on IE but now i can't remember my password for FB

I've read all the link and didn't understand most of it but it doesn't seem i'm alone, do i have to try and fix it myself or is it something that will be corrected?
