Here's my recipe; Sift a load of plain flour into a bowl Crack 1 egg for each person in Add a load of milk Start whisking.. Add a bit water Keep whisking.. Add more milk or water until the mixture feels runny enough to spread in a pan Let it stand for an hour (or more if you wish) to let the air bubbles rise out. Get ya frying pan well heated, add a splash of olive oil.. Pour in some pancake batter and enjoy..

At the risk of sounding stupid.....anyone wanna give me a fool proof pancake recipe?

I'm feeling adventurous, and might make them for the first time ever tomorrow! (Or I might just buy some Tesco ready made one's cos I'm a bit lazy like that

Although i would leave out the salt

Oh and and i have tried cadburys caramel chuckes in them in the past... they were sooo nice!

THat doesnt have any sugar in it noooo i wouldnt use that, you need a bit of sugar

I never put sugar in them (nor salt) it's the toppings that makes them sweet imo

Based on the list of toppings, I suspect YOUR pancakes are different than OUR pancakes? Sounds like maybe your pancakes are more crepe-like?

I checked maple syrup, but I love blueberries, too.

Mr. Lori makes me blackberry pancakes (with blackberries actually in the batter) every Sunday we are at the lake, during the summer. Those are my faves, with maple syrup.
