I stopped watching.  They lose too many good characters every series and it just turned into one big shag fest.  I hate that nearly all of the Gallaghers are gone and I despise Mimi.  I like Mickey but thought they were really OTT with the gay stuff in some eps.

Loved it when it was all about the Gallaghers and their first set of neighbours (grrr canny mind the names now.....but her who played Mira Hindley) and once Lip went it wasn't as good IMO.

I really LOVE shameless, I have the dvd box set, and have watched numerous times***sad*** I loved it right up until this series...I kind of agree, the older ones with lip etc, were REALLY good, but I also liked Paddy, and mimi (though can't stand Tina malone ) This series doesnt have me gripped at all, so if you thought it was bad after lip left, you would be totally disappointed  now really struggling to even watch it to be honest all the new families are boring, and the old characters that are still in have such small parts now

Last time I remember really watching it was the series where Mandy was killed.  I think I watched some eps after that but that's when I lost interest.  I used to love it too....was pissed that it got so bad that I just didn't bother turning it on.

Last series was really bad, i didnt even bother watching it when it came back from the mid series break and i havent even watched any of the new series yet

I got a right roasting on here a few weeks ago, when I said that bad spelling bugs me, (on a thread about things that annoy you,) and I didn't even name names.  I wasn't even referring to any particular person, as I couldn't think of the person or persons who made the spelling errors.  Yet I was jumped on.  Someone said that it was 'smack bang in the middle of rude!'  Or is it only rude when I do it?  It must be, because no-one has said anything about this.

Come on, we can't have one rule for one, and one rule for another.      (And I'm not buying any 'they were obviously only joking' defence....If one person is jumped on for it, then others should be pulled up on it as well!)

Now look, ladies. Lets not loose our heads.  It bugs you, but I couldnt give a flying if it does. Lets moan about shameless, not how I spelled loose or how anybody else spells anything.

Fair enough sweetie.    But I have to say I am pissed off that when *I* flagged up constant bad spelling as a pet peeve, on a thread that was specifically about pet peeves, I was jumped on, but nobody said anything about the person pointing out your wee spelling gaffe.  And nobody said anything about anyone ELSE'S pet peeves either.  It was just mine that was pulled out a criticized. 

I feel that sometimes; what I post gets pulled up and jumped on, and gets a few sarcastic and snide remarks... yet if someone else says the same kind of thing, it gets 'overlooked.'  I sometimes think that what reaction a certain post gets in here, depends on who has posted it.  I don't think I am wrong about that.

I didnt see the thread that the spelling argument happened in.  I suppose its who its with and how sensitive they are feeling?  Doesn't change the fact that Mickey has gone and Shameless is shamelessly bad.

I didn't see it either sparkles, so I honestly can't comment.  However, the reason I did say it to Gyps is because I know she isn't going to throw a hissy fit about it and fall out with me over it.  In fact I'd bet that she'll do it all the more just to bug me
