That's all the excitement over in Glasgow , cops have got the guy out of the restaurant he was holed up in and taken him to hospital and the navy bomb squad have left. What made me laugh though was the Twitter trends map - it showed that phrases trending in Glasgow while it was happening were "glasgowbomb", "navy", "strapped" , "disposal" and.. "gazza"

I really missed it Slinki, I have been travelling home today with the radio on and slumped when I got in at about 4 , but I really did miss it all..
I know.. it was fairly low profile nationally I think Syd, but they closed streets and evacuated buildings in the city centre while it was all happening . Folk on twitter were saying send John Smeaton and Gazza in

Must admit I heard about this in the car earlier when I wasn't really paying attention and it subsequently passed me by during the course of dinner, a nap and a game of Monopoly. Glad it ended well though - off for a squint.
Was at work all day, so only heard about it when I got home, by which time it was all over.
However, it was on the front page of the BBC news site.
My niece was in the city centre at the time and got stuck in traffic for a while.

Bloke was carried out feet first by the polis and chucked into an ambulance.I think he was just a random loon,rather than a serious terrorist etc.It seems he was refused a drink in the restaurant.
