Hello, my gold tie hating, Bea loving, fellow forumers.

Just a quick update of sorts, seeing as i have a little, not a lot (as Paul Daniels would say) bit of time tonight.

My TESOL course is going well, but its REALLY intense.... like super intense.  I will probably do more work, in one month, than the 4 years i did at Uni!

I'm teaching my first class tomorrow, we have to teach multiple classes as part of the course.  To say that I may need to overdose on the imodium is not an exaggeration. I'M BRICKING IT!!!!

I met the students today and they range from 30 years old up to 50. So not a bad age to start with. I get the miserable Italian teenagers next week

There's only 6 students too, which makes it slightly easier, they are:

Jan (yan) - Czech. Tom's brother.

Tom - Czech. Jan's brother

Cornelia - Swiss German. Has a nice bum....

Sena - Turkish

Francisco - Spanish

Svetlana - Russian. Looks REALLY angry all the time.

My first lesson is about special dates/occasions that we Brits celebrate, so i shall be writing up my lesson plan... and maybe even a script, so i know what to say

But I am enjoying it... it is very scary at times, but its meant to be..... right?

Anyway, how are you lot? Anything new?

Not sure Rawky - When were you last here?

I think BB finale night was my last post

Let's see then....

....we're all watching DOI now. Some really good celebrities - skating wise - this year. As ever some promising ones have already been dumped in favour of the not so good.

Think that's about it!

Oh, and Masterchef - some really talented and spectacular ones there.

Fanks for the support peeps and peepettes. My first teaching lesson, on tuesday, went well, it was only 30 minutes but the students (who are all 30-50 yrs) seemed to enjoy it.  I had another lesson today, 45 minutes and that went well too...aside from the last 10 minutes, my final activate (if you're language teacher, you might know what that is), went a bit tits up... but again the students seemed to enjoy it.  They even asked me to join them at the pub on Friday night .

In general the course is going well, its still very intense, and we had one person drop out today.  I'm not teaching till Monday now, but thats going to be a 90 minute lesson .  So I am prepping for that at the moment, among many other pieces of work I need to do.

Ack!
