Nah, he`s just fed up to the back teeth of her getting p*ssed. Don`t blame him. Who wants a drunk woman chasing you around, pulling down pants, causing havoc and making a complete fool of herself?

Denise has a different agenda regarding Michael.

It doesn't matter what their agendas are Scotty.... they are both obsessed with each other  Most of the speeches we have seen Michael give have been rants against Denise.....

Not at all, Michael talks about many other subjects. Yes, he`s ranted about her behaviour. If it was any other HM doing what she does, he would be the same. I`m sure he would have preferred her not to make an ar$e of herself but hey ho..that`s Denise.

She wants him to be interested in her. He`s not.  Hence her obsession.

Well I haven't seen him do much except rant about Denise, or lay in bed in those PJs .... oh and complain about tasks.... in fact complain generally Scotty   Sorry, but I think they are two sides of the same coin.... even down to the drinking.....  and I still say that had it not been for the dislike of Denise (both  his and the forums), he would have sunk into  HM obscurity ages ago

You must be watching a different programme to me Baz.

Even down to the drinking....oh come on, you`re having a laugh!

I`ve liked Michael from day one. His or the forums dislike for Denise has nothing to do with it. I would have preferred if he hadn`t been harassed by the mad drunk lady and had an easier time of it...I`m sure he would too.   I like him because he`s witty, intelligent and interesting. He can be a bit of a grump but that all adds to his character.

I meant his previous well documented drink problems Scotty   And yes, I think we are watching different programmes.... but then it would be a funny, not to mention boring, old world if we all saw things the same    What you see as a witty, intelligent, interesting man, I see as an arrogant, very boring,  and potentially nasty old grump.....

Oh, I see, so Michael having previous drinking problems and Denise`s current problem somehow makes them "two sides of the same coin?"  I don`t get that connection at all but never mind...

I don`t dislike Denise btw, I feel sorry for her at times, but her drunken antics have affected and upset quite a few in there..not only Michael.

You`re right, we won`t all see things the same Baz, it`s all part and parcel of BB.

MICHAEL TO WIN!!!

Michael and Densie are round about the same age... both have a propensity to drink... it must be so difficult for Michael to control himself, no?

I would say Michael to win - but I think he'd be embarassed by it ???

I don`t know, but he`s held himself together in the house...unlike Denise.

What I`m finding odd about this is...Denise gets drunk, makes a fool of herself, upsets people and somehow Michael`s previous drink problem is brought up.

I just don`t get it.

Scotty.... we aren't going to agree   But answer me this..... I have seen all sort of things brought up about Denise's life, husband, previous TV appearances etc. .... so how come  that is Ok , but bringing up Michael's isn't  I do think that part of Michael's problem with Denise could be that her drunken behaviour reminds him too much of himself....

Sorry for interrupting Baz,on Saturday night I mentioned Denise would be better not drinking.I wasn't saying it to be nasty,if anything at that stage I was feeling somewhat sympathetic about her,the response on here about that spoke for itself, sweet JC you'd have thought I have called her Rose West.I will look for the thread that would be easier. That aside, imo the difference between Michaels past about his drinking being dragged up (in another attempt to excuse Denise)and Denises is dead simple, how many drink related incidents have there been with Denise in there?

Because the discussion is about about Denise`s drunken behaviour in the house Baz, which naturally lends itself to bringing up her past escapades, and that of her husband. Michael hasn`t been drunk and out of order, otherwise I`m sure his past would have been analysed and dissected just like Denise`s.. so to bring it into the equasion doesn`t make any sense to me and frankly, I find it unfair.

I don`t know if Denise`s drunken behaviour reminds him of himself in the past, no-one does, but I do know that her drunken harassment of him set the ball rolling for his dislike of her and who could blame him?  Denise caused the problem, not Michael.

Scotty

But that's just it Scotty.... half the time the discussion isn't always about her behaviour in the House..... at least not without her *previous* life being brought into it. It's not a discussion I can join in because as I have said I know very little about her ( or any of the other HM's/Celebs for that matter...except  for what I read on the forum).... so my impression of all of them is based on what I see in the House. Yes,  she is a drunk, yes she has behaved improperly... and I have never said any different. I don't like Denise much... and I certainly wouldn't want to be in the House with her.... it's simply that if I was given the choice between her and Michael I know which one I would choose....  I don't know how much clearer I can be Oh, and Lee..... no need for apologies for butting in.... it's a forum

Baz

But it wasn`t about "it`s simply that if I was given the choice between her and Michael I know which one I would choose" Baz, if it was, this convo wouldn`t have taken place.

And if Denise`s past is being discussed on here and on other forums, and it is, there`s an obvious reason for it. Her behaviour in the house. Simples.

She had the opportunity to change people`s perception of her being a drunken fool, and she blew it

Silly woman.

Anyhoo, I`m out of here for now Baz...got twitter to do.

Perception is often unfounded. We can't expect others to constantly be fawning over us either(I'd hate that),if he done that he'd be accused of crowding/harassing her.She's needy, not his doing not  his fault not  his duty to fulfil.

Well that is a matter of perception too cos in my eyes he has gone out of his way to belittle her almost from day 1. I find him both rude and arrogant.... and quite frankly he would have had me in tears too...... after I had lamped him one of course

Any bloke,no,any person would have only had to tell me once to go away and leave them alone, that would have been done end off.In her own book she states she was impossible to argue with ,she would never shut up and how frustrating it was for her husband. She's fully aware of what she is doing,it was frustrating for her husband,it's been frustrating for Michael and the others .

But firstly, they were going to be in the House together for a maximum of three weeks.... was she not supposed to speak to him the whole time for fear of *crowding* him.....? And why is it OK  for Denise to speak to him when he  condescends  to speak to her?  Sorry, but the table/last meal thing did it for me Lee..... she was not *crowding* him then.... she was simply asking him, along with all the others around the table, a question....  and  (IMO) he went out of his way to be rude, just because it was her!  Quite frankly, it is his behaviour rather than Denise herself that has gained her support..... (well mine at least) But like you say, it is all a matter of perception

Baz Michael wasn't there at the start of the conversation at the dinner table, he joined half way through the conversation. If someone asked me what i would want for dinner just before i die I'd probably answer the same as he did. Food would be the last thing on my mind.I think he thought it was just a random question thrown his way and found it a stupid thing to ask, by the time he realised the others had all been asked the same he'd already made himself look silly so took the grumpy road instead of joining in. I admit it was a bad move by him but Denise again turned it to her favour, she's a born manipulator.

I realise he's a grumpy old sod, i live with one so i know very well * please don't tell i said that*, but i find her behaviour absolutely gross, uncouth and downright vulgar at times.

No doubt when the summer BB comes around we'll be back on the same track I usually find i like the same ones youdo
