OOOh Lee.x Well done you! I remember when the Bank were recalling the 20p a couple of years ago we were all checking like mad, but to no avail.

I'm shocked tbh Sezit,had to register with The London Mint Office who are buying them for £100,I think I'll just keep it for my grandson ,Mr C was in fits laughing,he said the odds of someone reading about it today checking and finding one in their purse is freaky.

Bugger thought I'd found one but it is'nt one of the 2008 ones....

Is it one of the older ones with date on back?...Keep looking Stonks,trust me if I found one it's possible for anyone 

The date on the newer ones is up at the top right in full,the older ones have the date split on either side.I though I had one too.

My dad has one of those, it was on the news around the time they realised but they were only going for about £50 on ebay so he kept it. I'll have to tell him he can get £100 now
