Are pancakes really that exciting?

I can get excited about chocolate pancakes, or toffee pancakes, oh yes

Like a month before the actual day? I mean, I do like a pancake but Christ on a Bike, if people are so excited that they're counting down just make some for yerself at the weekend or summat

I could just eat a pancake ..... yeah, with golden syrup

Oh I get what you mean lol, I'm not exactly counting down the days like Sweet is.

Haha I looooove pancakes!!! LOVE them! I make them frequently throughout the year, but have a pancake party on pancake day, we have every sweet filling that we can think of available! I once ate pancakes 10 days in a row too, my mum thought I was going a bit loony, but I was just enjoying them

I made toffee apple filling last year btw, was lovely

I like pancakes, but I dont like the way they make the house smell after you have cooked them.  Plus they do seem a load of time for very little.  I think this year i may buy some pancakes
