We have just eaten quite the scrummiest risotto, and are now settled on the sofa, wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, watching In The Loop - which we recorded ages ago, but have never got round to watching.

 

All in all it's a good night

I am sure there is probably stuff on catch up we could sit and watch later....and I think the missus mentioned a film on later, "wolf creek" if my memory serves me right....other than this, the tv is bloody terrible of late!

 

as for your risotto, and chocolate...sounds lush!! I am having egg in a cup nothing to do with Gypsies cooking skilz I have had the vomming bug so giving teh belleh a break

I'm having some wine and I have a great choice of entertainment.....watching the OH and his brother play Fifa on xbox or watch Without A Trace on the lappy   I wanted to go out but most of the mates are either skint, sick or don't have a babysitter

Aye....she dislocated her knee tonight, surprisingly the wait at A and E on a sat night wasnt hideous...only 3 hours, xrays, the lot, home now and sorted I am back to watching shit TV

Awww hope she recovers well,  I used to be in A&E on a regular basis with the eldest coz he was always sick....it's a hateful place to sit with a little one, thankfully (shit.....knock on wood) I haven't been in years!

Hard boil an egg, de-shell it and place in cup, add a dolop of mayonaise, chop and stir together - ENJOY!

Generally Saturday night is footie night in our house, Radio phone ins for the bulk of the evening and then MOTD.

Not if you're on a picnic, They have to be HARD boiled and you hold them in your hand or eaten via said cup.

 What is this nonsense of which you speak?     Chopped up egg in a cup is soft/medium boiled, scooped out hot and mixed with butter, surely?   Best served with hot buttered toast.  *drools*

Cold hard boiled egg with mayo eaten out of a cup seems like the sort of meal my student children might have

Ohhhhhhh egginacup Its hard boiled egg mashed up with butter  in a cup and served with toast. OHHHHhhhh egg in a cuuuppp, how I love thee egg in a cup!

 

Its the perfect food to eat when you feel poorly or need a nice comfort food start to a cold winters day.

My brother used to like that made for him as a kid  We called it a "chucky egg".
