I am just back from mine!!
The other half nagged me yesterday to take her out for lunch, the little Gypsie had been poorly over christmas and new year so it has been a bit subdued really...anyway, we dropped little Gyps with a friend who was "having her for a couple of hours" (or so I thought) and we went on a drive into the country to find a nice pub for lunch. We pulled up at at this really lovely big house when Gypsie said to me, 
"look at that lush house, pass me my camera from my belly dance bag" I was all a bit 
by this time , though I was dead impressed with this huge house.....anyway, I went to get the camera out her bag and there was a bottle of champagne
and I was all "what are you up to?" and then she said "we better go and check in"
How lucky am I?! it was such a needed break after Christmas/new year/work...and would recommend going away for a night after the new year to anyone. We packed in a REALLY nice meal, a swim, jacuzzi, and sauna and a nice bottle of red in the bar before a short walk back to our room, it really was soooooo nice!!
I feel well lucky today, and somewhat refreshed for the change!!

Mr summer usually surprises me for my birthday, and I his, but one time I totally surprised him for valentines day..
It was before we lived together and I secretly took the weekend off work and drove up, i waited in his house for him to get home from work, I scared the heck out of him lol I gave him half an hour to calm down then told him to pack because we had a flight to Dublin to catch
