Do you have any?

We used to go to my Aunts every year straight after mass.  As kids we hated it because we had to leave all our toys but as adults loved it because the uncle never let you have an empty glass and you'd end up going home fuzzy headed and then trying to make a dinner  We're skipping it this year though because we've no car at the minute and I'm not going there in a workvan or walking in heels  will be strange not going but I am looking forward to not having the kids moan about it too.

we always have 'christmas tree' presents in the afternoon.......just more 'smallish' pressies we open at about 4pm....

in the morning the spongettes come in and sit on our bed and open their stocking pressies before going downstairs to their main pressies by the tree.

on christmas eve we always go to the kids carol concert at church...mainly cos i like to squawk hark the herald angels sing...then after go to a local street where all the houses have outside lights and moving santa's and gawd knows what else.. and they do mulled wine and it's a bit of a party thing up there

we still leave out a carrot and mince pie, water and milk for rudolph and father christmas(even though the kids are now 18 and 16!).and i still ring the sleigh bells at 10pm to say father christmas is nearby!!

Driving to Llangollen in Wales around 20 December to see a couple of our aunts and calling at Shrewsbury on the way down to middle England again to see a couple of other relatives. Then on Christmas day, we always go for a walk around our area to the woodland in the late afternoon (around 3.30pm.)  Also, we always go to a few Christmas themed places (farms and themed fairytale type parks, and Christmas markets,) in early December. We have quite a few traditions and love Christmas so much...
