I don't mind Jamie Oliver, the one who gets on my wick is Gary Rhodes.
Loathesome, odious, pompous.
I remember when he had an estuary accent too!

Nope - not convinced. Delia still rocks
TBH - you can't beat Delia .....................(and Phil Vickery)!
The two combined makes for a good Christmas!
I think Fanny is great...
You can U tube her 1970s Christmas shows - only 15 mins long but brilliant
Not really a Nigella fan - bit of an exhibitionist IMO. Love Phil Vickery's Christmas tips though and although Jamie seems to be much despised on here - I love him TBH. Plain and simple is best
You see I don't get the plain and simple thing... OMG I don't think anyone annoys me as much as him - so much so that I have to turn the TV over when he comes on. He is SOOOOOOO Fake
My mam always said....good food doesn't need to be 'tarted up' *runs*
Rabbit bolognase that takes 12 hours to cook though?
An insistence that home made pasta is better than shop made. ( Have you ever made pasta - takes forever and is hardly simple!)
Nope - not convinced. Delia still rocks
Who the hell makes rabbit bolognaise?
I watched Nigel Slater tonight ... love him
Mind you ... I love any TV cookery programme

Gotta agree, Delia is the queen of cooking
I've made her Creole cake again this year, I think my family would leave home if I didn't
Oooooh sensible knickers on today then Cosmo...
I've been on the lash and am trying to appear coherent.........
All Nigella and Jamie are trying to do is get us to cook GOOD food - hence the drooling etc. Whether you like them or not - and I suspect it's about their delivery and personna rather than anything else, their main criteria is to deliver information and to show the techniques and tricks of cooking. I don't mind either of them.
My problem with Jamie is that mouth of his. I couldn't eat his food because I'm sure he spits when he talks....
He does lisp quite obviously but in RL it's not quite so apparent - if that makes sense?
But having been fed and watered by the fella himself I can honestly say that he serves up some good grub; it looks exactly like he serves up on the tellybox. Can't stand his chain of restaurants mind you, but that's a different matter altogether.
Oh God... i've put my foot in it, haven't I? It's not his lisp I was meaning though.. it's the lips.. they're all fleshy and loose looking and I can imagine he'd be a slobbery snogger. (Now if you deny that, you're in serious trouble!)

HE does
I've never tried Nigella's recipes... I always find myself going to Delia Smith's website if I want to cook anything nice.
Jamie Oliver I quite like, but he has almost become a parody of himself... he was talking of cooking Christmas food "with attitude" recently

You are supposed to be watching his souffle rise Kaffers

Madam, I can assure you that there was no snoggery going on so I cannot pass any further comment But yeah, I get the wubbery lip thing.

I know, it's like the xmas cake ingredients they're selling pre-weighed out in a box... which you still need to add fresh ingredients to from your own cupboards, like butter and eggs. What is the point, either make the whole thing or buy a damn cake
She gets on mine, she is so smiley and smug..........and a glutton.....
(so there!, glad I got that off my chest!)
someone called her *an oven ready sex pest*
sums her up
