I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE picking feathers out of cushions, can sit doing it for hours. Think my habit started when I was a little girl and I used to pull the ones that were poking out from my pillow so they didn't scratch me...now I'm a bit of an addict

So you just have a cushion covers and no padding, is that what you're telling us?
You ARE weird

No, there are MILLIONS of feathers in there, you'd never empty them, you just pull the ones that are poking out!
Ohhhh and if only I had no padding....I wish!
About 8 years ago I had full goose down duvet and pillows.I still find feathers...
Bubble Wrap..I cannot stop myself from popping it

My son is like you Elkie. The wallpaper by 'his' chair in his uni house, is apparently like bubble wrap. He sits and pops it relentlessly until the wall is flat, then a few days later it all pops out again and the process is repeated.
He loves it ... I don't know if he will ever come home

Yeah, does that mean I'm not alone?
Friends who I'm staying with over Christmas have two feather cushioned sofas, ooooo, can't wait to get my hands on them, there'll be tons of feathers poking out as I haven't been to stay for over a year!

Ah yes, has to be popped.
Oh and nailvarnish, I used to love peeling it off, the pleasure when you could get a whole nail's worth off in one piece!

And now you've made me cross soops
I've just got back from Waitrose, where I meant to throw some nail varnish remover and emery boards in my basket. I got so excited that Delia's cranberry sauce box (make your own, ingredients all measured out) was marked down from ÂĢ2.99 to 9p.
So, I forgot the nail stuff, and now you have reminded me
Mind you - I am going to make some cranberry muffins with the stuff in Delia's box ... so I expect that will cheer me up
I love chopping leeks really really love it. There is such a satisfying crisp, clean crunch when you slice through a leek, i could do it all day. I have a similar thing with cooked beetroot, but nothing tops a leek !

When you open a jar of coffee, theres a gold paper seal on top. I love to pop it with my index finger. [ I get a sensation similar to those who like bubble-wrap popping ]
Sniffing glossy magazines. I used to work for the prescription pricing service, and loved it when I got a huge batch of dental prescriptions to do, I used to sniff them too.

I like finding split ends and making them go all that ladder kind of way

I get that feeling when I slice cucumber on a wooden chopping board. I love the crisp feel of it and the fresh smell it releases. Never tried leek though. I better stop now or I'll sound really creepy [too late].

My mum used to do that with those little mini portions of milk/cream that you get in some cafes. Don't think she enjoyed it particularly 'though, was just too impatient to open it properly

*gives a secret nod and wink - to Super's mum*
