i know this a a dreadful thing to say bt I'e long suspected he may have Aids!

I did wonder myself, they are saying he has asked to do this conference to let people know how he is doing

I think that many of us fear this

wow...that was actually really moving

he was saying how he'd been really ill and how the doctors had saved his life,his voice broke and he was choking back tears when he said that,he said he isn't allowed to speak for long periods of time and that he'd 'played it all down' as he didn't want to worry his family,friends and fans.....and that he'd been in 'no fit state' to update anyone anyway.

So wasssup with him - did he say?

that he'd had streptococcus pneumonia...well he actually said 'strepto something'..so i'd imagine that was what he was refering to

he said 'since he woke up ten days ago'...so i presume they put him in a coma,that or he was drifting in and out of conciousness he'd been thanking the doctors for saving his life,he also said he was 'getting over having a tracheotomy'

I'm glad he's ok..  I read about him being in hospital in Vienna what must have been over a month ago.   It sounded really serious then... hopefully he's out of the woods now.

I just watched the video.... blimey... he's still not sounding great is he?   

I hope he recovers,but there's a limit to how much abuse(drugs) your body can take.He seems a troubled man.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was HIV+ or has AIDS either...  He lost a partner years ago to it...  bless him, I hope he hasn't, and if he has that they manage to get it back under control for him.

I LOVED it when shortly after being caught in a man's loo in America with another man, he released the song "Let's go outside" and basically ripped the wotsits out of the police.

It did cross my mind that George's lifestyle choices have made him likely to have contracted the HIV virus, but I hope that isn't the case and he makes a full recovery.

Be a bl**dy shame if there is more to this illness than is being admitted, but we're all just speculating given how ill he's been... and how he still looks & sounds poorly.

He's not had the best of personal luck really;  lost his long term partner and his mother died at a pretty young age too.  It's enough to send anyone off of the rails.  Doesn't help that he has been on record before saying he has an open relationship with that Kenny fella.

I really hope this was a nasty blip and that he's back to 100% health soon.

OMG ............he's obviously been really poorly - he hardly had the breath to talk - glad he's on the road to recovery - gay or not - he is my guilty secret fantasy!

i was watching the video for Last Christmas the other day and lamenting what a waste he was!   Of course, we didn't actually KNOW that at that time.
