And the problem with filming 8 weeks in advance.....  

 

The scene on the beachfront last night (with Pat and someone else - can't remember)  was obviously filmed in early to mid Oct, .....  and because we had that Indian summer, it looked like mid July, and it was meant to be Christmas!  

 

They had a Christmas tree on the seafront where they were walking.  (to remind us it was supposed to be Christmas in England, even though it looked like July!)  It was not like a huge one put there by the council, but one that was about 6 foot high, and looked like they just got it from tesco and popped some baubles on it and dumped it there ...    Eastenders just gets more daft!
