OK you lot are so clever can you help me.

I'm enlarging a photo and trying to print it to photograph paper.  The trouble is, the picture isn't sitting in the centre with an equal border around it   it keeps shifting to the top and left meaning there is no border there and but there's an extra wide one on the bottom and right side.

I'm trying to make a Christmas pressie out of these pictures for my little monster neighbour next door and it's stressing me out!!!!   I even bought some photo mounts to try and cover it but they ended up being too big    I'm using microsoft picture manager btw

does anyone know how I can shift the picture over to a more centralised position?  I can find the crop feature, the resize feature but nothing to help me move it over?

I'll scan a picture and show you what I mean

Do you not have to adjust your margins on the printing options ? it could be that you are printing it out with no margin at the top and loads to the side and bottom.

Or if your printer is hp for example phone their helpline. It will cost you like ten million pounds a minute but it may be worth it for your mental health as they will talk you through what you need to do online

Ive done that before when something was just doing my head in.

It gives me options in the wizard thingy and I have ticked fit picture to frame but grrr it doesn't like me.

I'm gonna go back and look at the printing options like Gypsie said - no doubt I'll be back tearing my hair out  Pulling My Hair Out

oh Pengy, I just noticed something... at the bottom of the coloumn of sizes there is an options link, click that and then click the printer properties link. Click on effects - mine has it set to actual size by default, you can try clicking on the print document on 'paper size' and putting in whatever size you are trying to print to

I hate hate hate hate hate this computer    I'm having to use the  old clunky one in the study that takes half an hour to warm up then another half an hour for all the virus updates to download so it won't let me do anything now

this is not improving my mood because I can't do what I want straight away   Milo is hiding cos the air is blue   I hate technology and it hates me   <----- I'm not really laughing

I think I'm going to have to resort to that GJ because I'm still getting it moving to the left side even though I've clicked for it to be centred and to fit

no - it seems to default to picture manager but I'll give what you said a go   failing that I'll be getting a piece of card and cutting out the centre and hoping it looks OK
