Hangovers really do suck. Lack of sleep and too many shots mean I now feel like crap and I'm dying with heartburn here. Can you die of heartburn? I think it's possible at this stage.
I've had tea and toast but it's not helping. I think going back to bed is my best option.

I havent been wrecked for years, but I have had one too many recently, and one of the bests cure for heartburn is water... Drink about 2 glasses if you can - (or about a pint.) That will dampen down heartburn. And also try some nurofen plus and although it sounds daft; some sickness tablets like quells or stugeron to take away the pukey nauseaous feeling. Hope you feel better soon. 
Apparently hangovers are so bad because you lose electrolytes. Try to have something salty, and something with potassium in it like bananas. Oh and some caffeine and a paracetamol helps too.

It really does get to the point where you daredn't get lashed anymore cos the hangovers are just not worth it.
Last really proper one I had was a few years ago... a bender that ended in shots of absynthe (what was I thinking).. the hangover had me begging for death for 4 DAYS!!!!
Then 2 years ago there was my BILs wedding in Poland.. VERY messy.. (in Poland it is tradition that a bottle of vodka per couple is put on the table).. I have to say... cos I drank pure vodka shots and nothing else.. that hangover was quite quick (only a day)..
the fallout from the actual night however... that still lives on to this day 
Only advice I can give you for now is the usual.. loads of water, paracetamol for the headache.. & Berroca seems to help too. (& makes your wee day glo yellow!)

Re what DITTY said ^^^... Yep, as you get older, you feel worse and worse if you drink too much. Since I hit my early 40s, I can't take my drink like I used to!
..oh Ells.. Drink lots and lots of water. flush those shots out...When I get really bad hangovers I try and fight it..go for a walk, do the housework,..telling myself my body is a temple!!!.
Just wish I would listen to myself sometimes...
Oh and for heartburn, if you don't have any rennies, drinking milk can help to neutralise the acid in your stomach. If you're in a pinch some bicarbonate of soda or baking powder in a glass of water might help.
I haven't got anything mentioned here except paracetamol so I'll have a few of those and back to bed. The thought of drinking water makes me heave but I love cold milk with a straw when hungover so hopefully that helps.

I had a similar experience but it was tequila shots. I never drank tequila again.

I can't even think about tequila without feeling queasy.. the smell of it alone makes me wretch.
All cos of a couple of hols with the girls to the Canaries... the touts get you into the clubs with tokens for free tequila's.. the hangovers felt like an axe through the head.

Only just seen this ,,,,,,get some Zantac in immediately. I suffer heartburn and it works miracles. I ran out the night before last and yesterday morning I was actually sick with heartburn
i always drink a couple of satchets of dioralyte..(the stuff you drink if you get the squits!)..tastes disgusting but replenishes all your salts and rehydrates you.
Right I've had a snooze and I feel loads better I must have looked a right sight this morning when the Sky man came coz when I looked in the mirror my eyes were black, my false eyelashes were covered in glitter (HOW???) I hadn't washed my make up off before bed so I was streaked everywhere and my hair looked like I'd been dragged through a bush backwards. I had only just got up when he arrived so hadn't even thought to check a mirror 
Once he left I took the tablets and milk and tied some tights round my head and went to bed.
Need something nice to eat now and that's me sorted!
Soozy I only get it the odd time but it lasts ages! It started after I had my first few drinks last night but my mate luckily had renee with her so it kept it at bay for a bit.
Spongey I actually did consider drinking one of those this morning but the idea alone turned my stomach.

After countless mornings of waking up to find ourselves in a fresh new form of hell, weâve decided to provide our guide to hangover cures and remedies based on myths, using our bodies as guinea pigs, science and fiction*. So without further adieu, hereâs the recipe for our very own Bar Zine Hangover Cure:
Throw two chopped bananas, two cups of milk, honey, a shot of vodka, a dash of bitters, a few shakes of Tabasco and Worcester sauce (donât be shy) into a blender and squelch. If youâre lazy you can just use orange juice instead of bananas and milk, as oranges contain potassium that helps reduce the morning-after jitters. If youâre really lazy, you can ditch the other ingredients and just suckle on the vodka bottle â but hey, letâs at least pretend to be responsible here.

A hamgover is one thing ........................many, many tried and tested remedies - Heartburn is some thing else.
Please believe me ZANTAC is the only way to go - Gaviscon and Rennies PAH! .................Zantac goes right to the source - doesn't do all the pussy footing soothing stuff - it cuts the acid DEAD IN IT'S TRACKS - might be a bit more expensive but ............it really is the most effective IMO!
Glad you're feeling better incidentally but - you have nothing to lose in investing in a pack of Zantac!
