I'm on the Atkins diet so I will have:

Cheesy cauliflower mash [ instead of potatoes ] sprouts, and carrot and swede julienne to accompany the turkey.

I will also attempt to make my own low carb versions of mince pies and shortbread [substituting soya flour and gluten flour for ordinary flour]. No Christmas cake or Christmas pud but I don't like those anyway.

I also have some low carb choccies bought in. I have locked them away so I don't eat 'em

I'm having the same as Sweet...... minus the ferrero rocher  But I actually prefer Boxing Day food..... loads of cold meat and pickles.....

I'm cooking for 4 people with very different tastes so finding something we all like was hard but I've settled for Stuffed Chicken wrapped in bacon, roasties, garlic potatoes, green beans, pepper sauce for me and gravy for the others.  Home-made banoffee pie for dessert.  Well 2 of them actually, one without banana and coconut

Ells

Full on traditional turkey with all the trimmings.

Sprouts are an essential, as are roast parsnips and mashed swede.  The rest of the veg is really based on whatever the majority favour (usually carrots, cauli-cheese and green beans).

Pud is pud..! accompanied by half a bottle of warmed brandy.  Strike extra long match, ignite and stand well back (nearly set fire to the beams last year ). The more people that I have to cater for, the simpler the menu.  We have warmed mince pies too, and there's ice cream for any of the nippers who don't like pud or pies.

I'm one of those who prefers Boxing Day food too;  salt beef and my secret stash of pickled walnuts.

I'm cooking for 11 with very different tastes:

One is diabetic

One is blind (so no fish, in case of bones)

One doesn't eat rice or pasta or red meat

One doesn't eat salad or any 'fancy' veg

One is vegetarian

One doesn't eat red meat or any form of beans

One doesn't eat red meat (and has a strange fetish that new potatoes should be peeled!)

My sister, her husband, their daughter and I am quite normal

So, we are having turkey, ham, mashed and roast spuds, a million different veg which people can help themselves to, bread and cranberry sauces.

Christmas pud, mince pies and trifle.

Hopefully there will be enough left to feed us for the next week

We had turkey and chips and pickled onions or beetroot and turkey sarnies for tea. Mam always used to buy the right size turkey for just that amount for us all

Choice of starters ...........homemade pate, prawn/lobster cocktail, melon and parma ham, some kind of soup.

Turkey and Pork, Roasties, Mash taties, Sprouts, carrots, green beans, swede and cauliflower cheese.

Pigs in blankets and two types of stuffing and ..................................................if my arm is twisted - yorkie puds.

Christmas pudding, trifle, fresh fruit salad with panna cotta or lemon tart.

Cheese and biccies.

Everything will be hoovered up eventually - I have a house full for at least three days!
