Ye of little faith..! I've got a Balenciaga Lariat bag (courtesy Mr. C) and it's still tassled - more stringed than tasselled tbh, to within an inch of newness.
TBF, one of my bf has a 5yr old 'tassled' mulberry which hasn't 'curled' yet!
Me....I like having the ones that will grow old gracefully... I hate them when they are 'new and shiny'

I like big, scrunchy, slouchy, soft leathery bags, Supes. My Lariat looks as good as new despite me slinging it around like a tatty old carrier bag 
I suppose it's the pastel colouring more than anything, but it's certainly holding up well considering...
