From the daily mail online;

"Three decades on, the death of one of Hollywood's most alluring stars remains one of its most enduring mysteries.
Natalie Wood was found dead at 43 in the waters off Southern California after a night of partying on the yacht she owned with actor husband Robert Wagner.
According to police reports at the time, the body of the West Side Story star - one of the most glamorous actresses of her generation - was found  wearing a long nightgown, socks, and a down jacket.
She is believed to have fallen off the yacht 'Splendor' after drinking and dining with her husband and  'Brainstorm' co-star Christopher Walken.
But 'additional information' is now said to have come to light prompting homicide detectives yesterday to re-open their investigation into her death on November 29, 1981."

"I've been trying to tell information about this for many, many years, but there wasn't really anyone listening until now"  is that tell or sell?

If he thought something was wrong he should have done something there and then and surely it was his responsibility as the ships captain to mount a search irrespective of whether Wagner wanted him to or not.

I felt at the time and still do that we've not heard what truly happened that night and unless Wagner and Walken are going to talk, we never will

What a load of old tosh.  So this guy suddenly comes out with this tale with information that he has "told many times but nobody has listened until now."  Yeah ok....   His story has more holes than a trawlerman's fishing net...  And I do wonder, if Natalie did have a paralysing fear of water, I wonder why she would ever go on a yacht?  It all seems so odd.  Who is telling the truth?  Who is lying?  Nobody knows, but coming out after 30 years to 'share this information,' is cheap and nasty and tacky and this guy obviously needs the money.
