I do wonder if it does make a difference though - my mum only ever wore nivea and she's always looked about 20 years younger.... maybe it's down to what you're born with!

I think a lot of it is the process of applying face creams...   the few minutes you spend sweeping upwards n all that...

I also think that when I used to wear make up everyday my face was protected from the elements more than it is now (now that I am married & can't be arsed to wear make up most days )

Ditty, I think most of it is complete bollocks tbh..luck more than judgement

The menopause hit and my skin was a nightmare - really, really bad - day in day out for over two years - I tried everything - nothing helped.

In March this year I sent for Panoxyl 10 facewash from the internet - it was harsh - but after three days - all clear - all gone UNBELIEVABLE. It wasn't expensive - I still have 2/3 a bottle left - I maybe use it once a month just to keep on top of things.

I can honestly say - I tried everything and this stuff is A MIRACLE!

It's not exactly a beauty product but if anyone is suffering with acne ................it's unbeatable IMO.

Soozy, I can probably count the no. of spots i've ever had in my life on one hand....i know i'm v lucky

Not so much luck it's what you inherit IMO ....................a really good friend of mine (two days younger than me) has been obsessive with her skin care routine since she was a teen ......................she's not wearing well - one look at her mum and you know why. I'm sure a little bit here and there helps (a little) but - you can't change what you've inherited too much - hair colour, eye colour, skin tone, height, basic shape AND SKIN - much of it is genetic IMO!
