apart from what Gyps posted above there is very little you can do..

turn the telly up & keep them in the front room with you...    talk to them, but try not to go OTT (cos it will underpin the idea that there is something to be frightened of)..

We're really lucky..    my dog will watch them from the windowsill if he is up there..   if not he will look up when they start & then just put his head down & Ignore them again.    He was a bit manic when he was younger..  but he's fine with them now.

The kitten couldn't give a toss about them...

Sorry to hear that Pirate.  Our pets are none too fond of it either...  Good thing is, that Bonfire night is on a Saturday this year, so ALL the parties and celebrations are on tonight.  I just came back from a display half a mile from us, that started half five and the fireworks were half six.  It goes on til about 9-ish, but I came home now, to make sure the pets are OK.

Like I said though, luckily it is on a saturday, so I don't think there will be any more after tonight...

Jade kept running in the conservatory, grabbing a mouthful of food and running back out again to eat it bless her

i was trying to move it inside but she kept rushing up and grabbing more, it was a bit funny too

she is now flat out on the floor, but lifts her head and gives an occasional growl with the big bangs then goes back to sleep again

my cat loves the fireworks and rushes over to the window to watch them he is a bit of a

There was none yesterday Scats, because it was HAMMERING down, so I think everyone is having them tonight...  Actually I am sick of hearing them now LOL.  I went to a display earlier, and they are still going on and on......
