Have i spelt that right? anyway daughters friend has had no end of trouble with some girls from a different school from hers and since leaving school in May all has been quiet, probably because she's been going to college at a different time to them.

Thursday morning she got jumped by 8 girls in hoodies and had their faces covered as she went to catch the bus at 8.15am  they stamped on her throat and ribs and called her a dirty dyke  she's on a sports course thats why she wears a tracksuit and even if she was into girls does she need beating up for it every time she leaves the house  the poor girl was sent home from college cause she was in that much pain, her and her mum are even moving house in 2 weeks time to get away from the bullies, it makes me so mad  she's even started to self harm but the police say there's no proof

No cameras  the sad thing is these girls are on they way to school  she hit back when it was one on one and the girl ran off but then more joined in  she's a lovely girl and doesn't deserve this, it makes you wonder what you would do if it was your child

I can't understand why it bothers them so much that she wears a football kit or tracksuit  if she walked down the street in a mini skirt and high heels would they leave her alone

she's not gay but they seem too think she is cause she wears a football kit  my daughter wears the same thing but is more confident than this girl

Sorry to hear that Aimee..  My two nieces have had issues with bullying, on and off for years.  happens to loads of kids sadly.... but the fact that half of kids seem to suffer it, doesn't make it easier when it's you dealing with it.  Doesn't stop when you leave school either, as bullying continues into college and work...........Bullies are bastards with low self esteem and are usually jealous of the person they are bullying.  When it comes to bullying gay or trans; it's usually narrow minded, stupid, ignorant twats doing it.

Good advice.  I hate the way the police are too often saying they can't do anything about these sorts of crimes.  Groups of teens beating another teen is too common these days and just last night a young fella of 19 was beaten to death outside a bar in our town, a beating gone way too far   Do the police want a body in the morgue before they take it seriously?  I'd be advising the girls parents to do exactly what Stonks said....just because she ISN'T gay doesn't mean it was any less of a hate crime, they picked on her because they THOUGHT she was gay.

Ells

The police can't/won't do anything until some sort of attack is made - and if it is like my friend, there were 20 louts outside her house, some with knives, after her son, and still they wouldn't come. This was after months and months of her boy suffering relentless bullying.

They left here and moved hundreds of miles up north the next day.

aint that the truth

we have a problem with a teenager and his posse where I live.  He racially abused my Polish neighbour who lives a few doors away while she was pregnant and threatened her.  She called the police and they came to take a statement.  Despite the fact that there ended up being over 20 teens surrounding her house and on her drive when the Police walked out, they did nothing to disperse them and left her at their mercy until 11pm.  Then a few months ago my next door neighbour was evicted (kids were part of this posse) and a new Polish family moved in.  Same thing has happened, they're being abused.  Next door to this scrote is a boy who is actually 25 but looks about 12 because he's severely learning disabled.  A lovely chap and harmless, but they grabbed him, pulled his trousers down and whipped him and filmed it - it's somewhere on youtube   Police were called and nothing was done, allegedly no evidence to prove this scrote was involved.

I'd had enough last week, so I contacted my local councillor reporting the Police to her.  Made a complaint to the chief constable of the West Midlands and contacted the Council's anti social behaviour unit.  Now suddenly this week we've been flooded with Police or the plastic version as my councillor agreed these incidences were hate crimes (racial and disability).  I doubt anything will change but we're all petitioning for this family to be moved.

I will Rexi and one of these days it's gonna get me into trouble but I can't stand by and see people abused like they are being as both my Polish neighbours are lovely people and having a learning disabled brother, it upsets me to see anyone with this disability abused.

the guy and his family that moved in next door doesn't speak very much English - it's very broken and his wife hardly speaks any but the kids are damn near fluent.  The father calls me Mrs Lady which always makes me chuckle

He works hard and spends his time doing the house up (it's council but they didn't do a good job of repairing it) there's hardly a sound out of them and you'd never guess they had 4 kids in there   he's always trying to throw alcohol down my throat as well  when I visit
