It won't have much "reality" about it in the depiction of the filth and grime of the city dump shown in tonight's episode.
Average life expectancy of some living in Victorian times had improved to 48 by 1901. Ann Widdecombe (one of the participants) is 67.
Thanks for telling me Baz, I hadn't spotted that programme in the guide
Its the sort of thing I watch

9pm, BBC1
"Living history is no picnic for this group of celebrities transported back to Victorian times for four days of hard graft. Miquita Oliver is beating carpets with no-nonsense Ann Widdecombe, who shows the youngsters how itâs done. ZÃķe Lucker and Colin Jackson get the giggles when their wagon goes wonky, while Tyger Drew-Honey is pondering fruit theft with Alistair McGowan as his conscience. Will the group crack when they have to go back to a rat-infested house with an outdoor privy at the end of the day? Hannah Verdier
Check out Ann Widdecombe ^^
I try to avoid reality shows these days but I'm sorely tempted to give this one a go. The prospect of seeing Anne Widdecombe living in a rat-infested hell hole and using an outdoor privy* will be worth making an exception.
* Wonder which newspaper she will be cutting up to use as lavatory paper?
BLOOMIN' 'ELL Roger - give us a warning before you post images like that!
Take him down Rog
EC's complaint has been upheld. It should have had a warning
Widdecombe looks like she's about to give someone a poisoned apple in that pic

Did it startle you? Sorry EC
I'll be watching, Baz.

I thought it might be the Victorian village at Ironbridge ...
Hope they're saving the Ripper for the last episode.
