Along with other MPs in the region, I have just received an email from a Government Minister inviting me to a meeting to discuss further restrictions in the North East with just 7 minutes notice. Disgraceful. Do they even know what they’re doing?!

Lynds just messaged asking for advice, they want her to go to Hexham for clinical trials of a Covid vaccine...I said not to go, she has a young family...I know these things have to be tested but for single people or the likes of me yes....Was I wrong to say no

Thanks Ros, my first thought was panic if something went wrong...if she was single and no dependants and wanted to do it I would leave that choice to her.

I would do it Baz, it has to be tested, but my family are adults and not dependent on me... and on the plus side if anything went wrong they wouldn't have to find me a care home
