One of my inappropriate Mum stories....
My brother got married to his life long girlfriend. She had been married once before (in her teens..it didn`t last more than a year)
She came over to our table, holding her wedding bouquet and everyone was saying how beautiful she looked and how lovely the bouquet was.
Mum said. "It`s a shame the flowers don`t last, they could have done you for your next wedding."
She loved Maggie and Maggie loved her. It just came out...from nowhere.
