Its a 3 parter innit..

if it wasn't I would be praying that the rest of the series stayed with Amy & Rory..  watching them get on with their mundane lives

Tom Baker's irritatingness was countered by the best Dr's assistant of all time ...    K9!

This doctors saving grace has been Amy & Rory (who are fab, both individually & as a couple)..  and some surprisingly decent scriptwriting.

S'not like the good ol days of Ten inch & Rose though

Tis better than the days of that Sylvester bloke

I waffled.    I needed to..   normally Ickle & I have this conversation (EVERY WEEK)..   but all I have is the boy here..   and he is busy participating in the National Lottery game show thing..   the girl has dumped me for a kitten!

I am gonna let you have that one!

I was hoping you would

Agrees with Ducky - he is the best Doctor and it's taken me a bit of time to understand that because of my love fest with Mr Ten Inch      *ignore Ditty*

Kaffy, Kaffy, Kaffy....

He hasn't got the twinkly eyes or the charisma to me to buy into the fallible making him more loveable sketch..

He's already way past the written warning stage with me..

gawd I'm at the stage where I am almost ready to swap him for Martha bleedin Jones

I almost resent the scriptwriters for their talents..  if the storylines were crap then I could laugh it off altogether until he regenerates..

On a brighter note..     My dream doctor who would be Ol' Russ!     I feel we deserve it..  he has enough twinkly charisma to compensate me for ol rubber face

LOL-ing at the 'written warning' comment.     Aww.. I loves him.. and come on - Martha Jones?   I'd sooner have McCoy!      Russ tho... now you're talking!    Although, I'd be totally inconsolable when his time came to regenerate.

Kaffs

I had high hopes Kaffy..   when they announced him as the new doctor I did a bit of googling & thought he might be quite good..

but I don't like him     I did try  & its not just cos I don't fancy him (I would sooner do Martha ) I don't like the manner in which he plays the doctor.

However..   apart from him I do like the series & I do love Amy & Rory.

It could be worse..  it could have been Matt Smith with Martha Jones...  with an episode that involved Jar Jar Binks & Mr Blobby!

Also.. I have the added advantage of feeling no loss when he does regenerate..   I was gutted when Chris Eckleston left (though little did I know how much I was gonna fall in love with Ten Inch)..    I was dreading him regenerating (& he gave us a few scares)..

This time it can't come quickly enough for me..   I am even prepared for a female doctor if the powers that be decide to give it a whirl1

yes... you better run!

I was the same when we lost Christopher Ecclestone, but boy... that didn't last long!     I still think Ten Inch and Rose were the best pairing, but I like Amy too.

right.. past my bedtime - night, Ditty x

I can never, ever work out what's going on - I just go with the flow and enjoy it. I still have the second half of it to watch - I'll watch it with my three year old grandson - he'll explain everything. He really does have a far better understanding of it all than me - I love watching it with him.

Soozy Woo

A brilliant episode and ending to the series.....between us we had pretty much guessed all the twists....but then we do watch each episode several times and pick up l the little clues (yes we are obsessed!!!) It was brilliantly done though and it did still keep us guessing....couldn't wait to see who was right, if any of us!! Churchill was fabulous again...maybe he could be a companion..although he looks like he may struggle with the 'RUN' bit that happens every episode!!!! We will be watching it again after the footie to see what we missed! Roll on Crimbo day....the Doctor Who special is the only essential viewing of the day!!!
