It was a moving episode. I cried.
I cried too....and lost another bit of my heart to Arthur Darvill....I adore him even more than I adore Matt Smith...he is just fabulous as Rory and can be my Centurion any darn time he likes....
I've just watched. *sniff sniff* I came to find this thread because I knew I'd feel normal here.... I'm drained now.
I didn't notice this last night
I did watch it.....and I balled my eyes out.
FFS you lot.
It's pie in the sky science fiction.
But Rory and Amy are soul mates Velvet! SOUL MATES!
I liked the speech she did..
the "fugly love" speech
It's so true
tis
Oh, I am so glad I wasn't the only one in need of the Kleenex
What a fab episode
Ermmm..
its on DUCKY!!!!
Been on a little while!!!
#kittenroutinedisruption
Can I just say that the creepiest room for me in that hotel is the hallway.. MY PARENTS HAD THAT EXACT CARPET!!
Its an Axminster..
I HATE THAT I KNOW THAT!

David Walliams teeth and little ears are making me laugh so much
It made me cry again.

he looked a lot like he has over the past week really
It made me cry again.
it didn't make me cry..
it made me have a ranty outburst at the crap doctor (HE GOT IT WRONG FFS!!). and.. when he said "look after Rory".. I couldn't help it.. I splurted out an angry "geeeet over yourself"
Its a 3 parter innit..
if it wasn't I would be praying that the rest of the series stayed with Amy & Rory.. watching them get on with their mundane lives
Tom Baker's irritatingness was countered by the best Dr's assistant of all time ... K9!
This doctors saving grace has been Amy & Rory (who are fab, both individually & as a couple).. and some surprisingly decent scriptwriting.
S'not like the good ol days of Ten inch & Rose though
Tis better than the days of that Sylvester bloke
I waffled. I needed to.. normally Ickle & I have this conversation (EVERY WEEK).. but all I have is the boy here.. and he is busy participating in the National Lottery game show thing.. the girl has dumped me for a kitten!
He did get it wrong though
Tonight.. cos I lubs ya..
I am gonna let you have that one!
I was hoping you would
Agrees with Ducky - he is the best Doctor and it's taken me a bit of time to understand that because of my love fest with Mr Ten Inch *ignore Ditty*
Ditty, Ditty.... come,. sit down and let me explain....
He did get it wrong, but he got it right in the end - he's fallible, which only makes him all the more loveable. Sheesh.. if you think that's fallible what about what Captain Jack's had to go through in Torchwood!
he's fallible, which only makes him all the more loveable.
Kaffy, Kaffy, Kaffy....
He hasn't got the twinkly eyes or the charisma to me to buy into the fallible making him more loveable sketch..
He's already way past the written warning stage with me..
gawd I'm at the stage where I am almost ready to swap him for Martha bleedin Jones
I almost resent the scriptwriters for their talents.. if the storylines were crap then I could laugh it off altogether until he regenerates..
On a brighter note.. My dream doctor who would be Ol' Russ! I feel we deserve it.. he has enough twinkly charisma to compensate me for ol rubber face

LOL-ing at the 'written warning' comment. Aww.. I loves him.. and come on - Martha Jones? I'd sooner have McCoy! Russ tho... now you're talking! Although, I'd be totally inconsolable when his time came to regenerate.
I had high hopes Kaffy.. when they announced him as the new doctor I did a bit of googling & thought he might be quite good..
but I don't like him I did try & its not just cos I don't fancy him (I would sooner do Martha ) I don't like the manner in which he plays the doctor.
However.. apart from him I do like the series & I do love Amy & Rory.
It could be worse.. it could have been Matt Smith with Martha Jones... with an episode that involved Jar Jar Binks & Mr Blobby!
Also.. I have the added advantage of feeling no loss when he does regenerate.. I was gutted when Chris Eckleston left (though little did I know how much I was gonna fall in love with Ten Inch).. I was dreading him regenerating (& he gave us a few scares)..
This time it can't come quickly enough for me.. I am even prepared for a female doctor if the powers that be decide to give it a whirl1
Or...
we could have Doctor twins..
Jedward styley!
*runs*

yes... you better run!
I was the same when we lost Christopher Ecclestone, but boy... that didn't last long! I still think Ten Inch and Rose were the best pairing, but I like Amy too.
right.. past my bedtime - night, Ditty x
I still think Ten Inch and Rose were the best pairing,
Definitely!
Next week....
I'm all nervous...

Me too!
Just watched the finale. Fab-u-lous! I couldn't work out what was going to happen... loved it!

I can never, ever work out what's going on - I just go with the flow and enjoy it. I still have the second half of it to watch - I'll watch it with my three year old grandson - he'll explain everything. He really does have a far better understanding of it all than me - I love watching it with him.
LOL - love it Soozy! My mate's little boy(6 at the time) came up with Matt Smith's name during the big 'who'll be the next Doctor' debate - we'd never even heard of him. Litlle smart asses. You'll love the end... come back when you've watched it and tell me what you think.
A brilliant episode and ending to the series.....between us we had pretty much guessed all the twists....but then we do watch each episode several times and pick up l the little clues (yes we are obsessed!!!) It was brilliantly done though and it did still keep us guessing....couldn't wait to see who was right, if any of us!! Churchill was fabulous again...maybe he could be a companion..although he looks like he may struggle with the 'RUN' bit that happens every episode!!!! We will be watching it again after the footie to see what we missed! Roll on Crimbo day....the Doctor Who special is the only essential viewing of the day!!!
