Had a lovely evening yesterday and afterwards we vowed that, once a week, (turns each,) we would plan something to enjoy together, outside of the normal 'routine' : talk about our day/ work, go for a few drinks, eat, maybe watch a bit of telly, fart about on the internet, fall asleep on the sofa and snore, (him,) go to bed....So, I've got a few ideas and I'm looking for more....not looking for 'wowwy/big stuff' (they're easy,) just kinda simple pleasures. So, any suggestions?

Play cards. Not suggesting strip poker or anything (although if you fancy it then why not!) but just a few games of whatever you can think of.

Are you looking to do something different every week? Otherwise how about doing an evening class together. You could try something outside of your comfort zone (I don't know what that is for you) like pottery or dancing or a massage class.
Is this for a group of people or a romantic duo?
Turn the telly off and talk ........maybe get photo albums out and reminisce (sp).
Also I know the nights will start drawing in now but a walk when you both have a day off can be fun. Our library has loads of leaflets for all sorts of walks and lots of other ideas too

Erinp, thanks,(really) but, sorry that's kinda the opposite of what I want...Thinking more along the lines of 'everyday'/ 'after work' things, if that makes sense?...Gawd, hope i don't sound like a 'saddo' here, I have got loads of ideas...am i the only one who just 'flops' after a stressful day at work?
