He Col, I said to my mate who's a nurse about your two fatty lumps below the knees and she asked how old you were. I replied "about our age"

Her diagnosis? "Probably saggy boobs"

She did also say to get the Doc to have a look or the practice nurse if your doc is hard to get a consultation with

A friend of mine had a gristly lump under her knee .............she was frantic but the GP clinic removed it with a simple operation under local anasthetic - it was all explained to her - a build up of gristly tissue etc. I really can't remember the technicalities now. I'm sure (hope) it will be nothing to worry about but not nice all the same.

As an aside I did think of this (hope it's not too flippant)

I hope the appointment at the doctors goes OK

I made an appointment for my lungs last week, so I called them earlier today and told them about my little lumps (3 now). I will have a call from my doc in the morning and depending on what he hears, I might get an appointment at the end of surgery tommorrow. If he thinks my leg will fall off, we will stick to the Sept. 19th app.

Totally agree.,  I just hope that Cologne (and anyone else) is not put off by the comments that were said,  As many have said here, loads of people put different issues and problems on here, and there seems to be no problem usually.  Hope it all goes well cologne,;

I am surprised at how long you have to wait though, where I live, you can get in the same day, if you turn up at 8.15am and wait... and you usually wait between 15 and 40 minutes... Even if you don't want to wait, and you prefer a 'booked' appointment, you can usually get in within 3 or 4 working days...

Sorry slinki and skylark, I tried to post earlier, but the keyboard wouldn't work again.

Anyway, my doc thinks they are dried out little bloodclots which wont be moving around my body. Just in case he's wrong, I have to keep an eye on them, but I think I panicked for nought. I'm sorry, but thanks to everyone who stayed with this silly thread.

Not silly at all! You simply consulted a panel of 'experts' free of charge. Ga Ga is a great place to be!

I'm glad your mind has been put to rest! Hope everything else is OK too
