have to agree about the steve macdonald thing  

i went through all my old (ish) photos with my youngest and she didn't know the older folks so i wrote names and dates on the back of some - i hate to think they might be thrown away because no one knows who they are

That's a great idea - *goes off to do the same* - see you all sometime in the new year 

I love showing my kids all the older pics.  It's nice to be able to show them the people who mattered to us who aren't here any more.  They also love looking at their baby books because I updated them every few weeks and the like reading about what they were like as a baby.
