This old fella had his shop ransacked and destroyed by the rioters. Now people are donating a bit of money to help him rebuild it. I thought it was nice, general idea that would raise couple of bob....but then i looked at the totalled raised so far and I couldn't believe it.

Its given me a warm, fuzzy, feeling inside....although that could be from the Mexican I had the other night

There is a similar campaign with the furniture store in Croydon. I think the campaign wants to rebuild the store exactly the same as before.

Awww poor bloke but aren't people lovely to donate to his cause

I also understand that the poor Malaysian lad who was mugged by people he thought was helping him has also had a fund started for him
