I'm sure this is another famous CN windup thread ( and it seems to be working  ) but have you tried hanging out with younger women?  Say, 19yos.  I prefer younger blokes mostly because I have a much 'younger' sense of humour than my years.  I reckon a 19yo would be flattered by the attentions of a 23yo and be less worried that she's not the centre of your universe, possibly even content that she comes a bit further back than your love of football.
