My friend will be in will be in George Square on Friday hope he gets to his SPT meeting.

They say that pedestrian access will be maintained and all businesses will function as normal. Pedestrians may occasionally be requested to stay still for short periods.

They'll be filming until the 31st, but there's no guarantee of when he'll actualy be on set.

Would have liked to have applied but only found out about it this week.. I think casting was in June or July

Yeah, seem to have kept a fairly tight lid on this.

Well, I was in Glasgow today, had a wee wander round the area in which they;re filming. Have to say it was a bit UNDERwhelming. There were a few Philadelphia fire trucks and street signs and there was an open prop van with a dummy of an 'injured' zombie inside.

But given that it's supposed to be taking place in the aftermath of a war, I was disappointed not to see lots of 'bombed and ruined' buildings. The area that was actually being filmed was all shrouded off. The only other thing was the sound of the occasional siren.

My mate was in George Square ,he seen the SWAT team, there was an American court house( 100 yards from Queen Street Station)  and there were Yellow traffic light dotted around the square.He was very impressed .

I hear Glasgow was chosen specifically because the producers heard that every Friday night at least 3,000 zombies can be found on the streets of the city in search of their next ecto.

 it was chosen for its architectural design.

Glasgow city cetre is laid out on a grid system, the same as most major American cities.
