I will agree about lumpy mash 

It needs to be smooth, buttery and fluffy  .... and maybe mixed in with some cream cheese 

oooh indeed, and on occasion, spring onion!!

I used to suffer with lumps, until I bought this - 

My mam makes the worst mash ever.  Lumps galore   I get my cooking skills from her but at least I know how to give a good pounding.

some times you can mash till your arms drop off and everyone has forgotten your name,  and it still has lumps.

 dunno which spuds  make that happen  but  my mum says its the frost that does it.
